What Do They Mean?




Here are some abbreviations you may or may not know.

We'll start with some easy ones you may already know


html - Hyper Text Markup language
http - Hyper Text Type Protocol
CSS - Cascading style sheets


There are other abbreviations that may be handy if and when specialize in html you find handy.


DNS - Domain Name System
ISP - Internet Service Provider
DOM - Document Object Model
AJAX - Asynchronous Java Script and XML
CGI - Common Gateway Interface
